Outstanding Student Achievements: National Merit and College Board Recognitions

 
We are thrilled to announce the students who have received recognition this year from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation and those awarded with Academic Honors from the College Board National Recognition Program!

More than 1.3 million juniors across 21,000 high schools entered the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the 2023 PSAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®), which served as the initial screening for program entrants. The nationwide pool of Semifinalists represents less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors and includes the highest-scoring students in each state.

High performance on standardized tests like the PSAT reflects how Sailor students can apply the divine gift of intellectual curiosity with diligent pursuit of academic excellence," shares Laura O'Friel, Vice  Principal of Academic Affairs.
