Turf Athletic Field

Mount de Sales Academy's synthetic, turf field is the home to four varsity and JV sports teams (field hockey, soccer, softball and lacrosse), as well as providing space to train, compete and grow through physical education classes and student activities. The original field was installed in 2013, and renovated in 2025 with a state-of-the-art Shaw SpikeZone Pro synthetic turf, paired with a Brock Shock Pad designed to enhance performance while ensuring the safety and protection of our athletes and students.

The innovative design did not sacrifice the traditional feel of the original grass field, which was created in 1982. Students, parents, and alumnae still enjoy the same view from the hill with a piazza gathering space that builds community. At the heart of the field is the Mount de Sales athletic anchor, a proud symbol of Sailor spirit and tradition.
